Managed Website Service Terms

These draft terms describe the intended managed website service and do not replace a signed project agreement.

Starter term and payment

The Starter Website is $200 CAD setup plus $79 CAD per month with a 12-month minimum, followed by month-to-month service. Custom work requires the agreed deposit before work, the balance before launch, and care billing beginning at launch.

Scope and care

Each agreement defines pages, capabilities, exclusions, revision rounds, target dates, and prices. Monthly care includes hosting, backups, monitoring, security, dependency maintenance, and reasonable minor changes to existing text, images, contact details, and hours. New pages, redesigns, integrations, booking, AI, and custom development require a separate quote.

Ownership

The client owns its business content, submitted data, operational business data, and domain. Scaling Systems owns and licenses its platform, plugin source code, and reusable technical components.

Support

We target an initial response within two business days. No uptime service-level agreement is offered unless a signed project agreement states otherwise.

Cancellation, export, and recovery

Clients request cancellation through Scaling Systems. An accepted project closure enters a 30-day recovery period. Export and domain transfer are handled manually and can include client content, media, form or booking data, and domain information, but not platform source code. Required billing and audit records may be retained after operational closure.

Acceptable data

The service is intended for ordinary business, contact, and booking information. Do not submit medical, financial, legal, or other highly sensitive regulated records.
